OmniConsumerPrograms

Tools, frameworks and business software you own outright

// Manifesto

Software should belong to the people who depend on it. So I build systems that run on your hardware, under your control, and keep working long after a vendor loses interest. Readable, inspectable, yours — which also happens to be how I prefer to work.

// What I build
  • 01

    CLI Tools

    Command-line programs that do one job, speak standard input and standard output, and never ask permission to phone home.

  • 02

    AI Frameworks

    Composable layers for retrieval, evaluation and agents — the plumbing you need to run models yourself, without a platform in the middle.

  • 03

    SME Business Software

    Invoicing, stock and payroll for small firms — installed on site, backed up by you, priced once instead of per seat.

// Work

Some of it is open source, some of it funds open source. All of it is software you can run yourself.

A recurring discipline: the tools below are rebuilt against the standard library alone, so there is nothing to install and nothing to audit but the code.

  • A local-first, policy-governed coding harness for AI agents. Desktop app and terminal UI, gated multi-agent runs, virtual filesystem, SQLite memory, WASM and MCP.

    Rust

  • A tree clone in Rust, with JSON output, file sizes, git-ignore awareness, sorting and colour.

    Rust

  • Offline-first management software for auto repair shops: multi-bay scheduling, digital inspections and an integrated email client. Sold as a licensed product.

    RustKotlin

  • A friendly diff clone for the command line. Dependency-free, and easier on the eye than the original.

    Rust

  • Applies unified diffs to files — the write-side counterpart to ruling, closing the loop on diff.

    Rust

  • A grep clone written against the Rust standard library alone. Nothing to install, nothing to audit but the code.

    Rust

  • A minimal multi-threaded HTTP server built from scratch using only the Rust standard library.
